We came here for dinner and really enjoyed the food and service! We decided to do the private dining instead of the section where the food is cooked in front of you. We were seated quickly and greeted by our waiter. We went ahead and put in our drinks and food order at all once. I got an Angry Orchard and my husband got a Michelob Ultra. We got the Party in Your Mouth sushi roll and it was amazing! We ate it so fast! For entrees we went with the hibachi chicken and shrimp. We were given salad and soups along with those entrees and everything tasted great! If we visit Valdosta again, we most definitely will be coming back here!

I just noticed my review was eight years old and needed updating! Mori has come along way in the past five years and then this last year I've been there at least five times when I visit Valdosta with my kids and the restaurant has improved their service tremendously, I only come for sushi and the sushi bar is now expanded, and they have eliminated one of the hibachi rooms and convert it for sushi. Some more people can sit, which was a great idea! James was our server and he was the last couple of times I was here... I hope I'm getting his name right... He has made our experience so much better such a great server handle me and my kids and grandkids who can be a handful but we are all big sushi eaters, and with limited sushi in Valdosta. This is always been the place to go. Tonight we had a variety of rolls, salads and soup, including a veggie roll for the kids who are five and two and only eat vegetables! They loved it! We also got the dumplings and peanut sauce, which I haven't tried before which were absolutely delicious. So pleased to see the improvements in the great service, and the food quality is quite good to match the service which was all I was looking for. We were able to satisfy the kids so the adults could enjoy their meal and James helped us do this quickly by taking care of the little ones first and letting us enjoy our dinner . Great food great service, new attitude on service, which impressed the hell out of us. Great night with the family and thank you Mori for the great service and food. Highly recommend.!!!

First off, our server Kinslie was wonderful. She made sure our orders were correct, glasses filled, and sauces were plentiful. Now we have gotten sushi, sashimi and sat at the hibachi tables on various occasions. I have always thought the hibachi tables were too close together, but the food is always good. My daughter and I prefer to sit at the sushi tables, whether we get sushi or not. Some of the sushi rolls, like Party in you Mouth, are pretty spectacular and some are just run of the mill. So don't be scared to ask questions and try a few things to figure out what you like.

Hibachi was good but there was a $2.50 upcharge for fried rice which wasn't mentioned by the waitress and cucumber was an extra $1 too but was told $0.50. Sushi was 1.5 star quality but hibachi was good.
